HONOR with upcoming Magic7 Series will feature innovative AI capabilities, including the first on-device AI Agent for an open ecosystem.

HONOR at Snapdragon Summit 2024, revealed its plans for an AI-first mobile ecosystem with its Magic7 Series. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, this new series introduces Autopilot AI, featuring an AI Agent that can perform tasks like ordering food or managing subscriptions using simple prompts. This on-device GenAI enhances user convenience by learning preferences and making intelligent decisions, marking a new era in mobile automation.

The key challenge that HONOR overcomes with this technology is breaking app silos. The AI Agent operates seamlessly across multiple apps, enabling tasks like travel planning, booking, and cross-app file transfers. By integrating GenAI directly on the device, users benefit from faster, more personalized interactions without relying on external cloud-based services. This innovation significantly reduces user effort, streamlining daily activities through an intuitive and secure AI assistant.

Another major advancement is HONOR’s use of on-device GenAI for mobile gaming. For the first time, the Magic7 Series will feature real-time AI graphics rendering powered by Neural Processing Unit (NPU) computing. This reduces the GPU load, resulting in lower device temperatures and improved gaming performance, while delivering higher-quality visuals. This AI-driven gaming experience optimizes performance without sacrificing image quality.

In addition, HONOR’s MagicRing technology enhances the multi-device experience by securely connecting various HONOR devices. Users can switch between devices effortlessly, allowing tools like Cocreator and AI Eraser to function seamlessly across smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite and MagicOS 9.0, the Magic7 Series is set to transform mobile user experiences through AI.
