HubSpot is scaling its use of GenAI with new domain-specific agents designed to improve customer experience, streamline collaboration, and reduce manual work for small and midsize businesses. The platform now includes four core GenAI agents: the Customer Agent, Prospecting Agent, Knowledge Base Agent, and Content Agent. These tools handle customer queries, generate personalized outreach, identify gaps in documentation, and create marketing content like podcasts and blogs. The Customer Agent alone is resolving 52% of tickets, with some users reporting up to 90% resolution.
HubSpot’s GenAI also supports flexible adoption. Teams can soon build custom agents for niche use cases. This is key for SMBs with unique workflows but limited development resources. These agents operate inside new digital workspaces tailored to sales, customer service, and helpdesk teams, offering one interface for managing tasks, insights, and engagement.
While some startups are quickly integrating GenAI, others hesitate due to budget or knowledge gaps. HubSpot aims to lower the barrier to entry with easy-to-deploy agents that require no technical expertise. These features, rolled out in HubSpot’s Spring Spotlight, align with its broader goal of providing AI-powered CRM for growing businesses.
