One of the key challenges overcome by NotebookLM Business is the integration of GenAI to enhance research and data analysis. The tool lets users upload materials to “notebooks” and query the Gemini 1.5 chatbot for detailed insights. The addition of higher usage limits ensures that enterprises can handle more complex data without performance slowdowns.

A standout benefit is the Audio Overview feature, which uses GenAI to generate narrated study guides from uploaded materials. Users can control the focus of the conversation, guiding the AI to emphasize specific topics or levels of expertise. While the audio is generated from the materials provided, it can serve as a highly useful tool for summarizing research and enhancing knowledge retention.
