Oracle’s HeatWave GenAI solutions offer AWS users automated, secure GenAI applications with integrated in-database LLMs.

Oracle’s HeatWave now offers GenAI tools on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This lets businesses create AI applications easily and securely without moving data between platforms. By using in-database large language models (LLMs) and automated processes, HeatWave removes the need for extra AI tools and cuts down on security risks.

A common challenge with GenAI is the high cost and complexity of using many different AI services. HeatWave solves this by combining everything into one system, replacing up to six AWS services, and offering a much cheaper option. For example, HeatWave’s vector processing is 39 times cheaper than Snowflake and 96 times cheaper than Databricks. This means businesses can save money, avoid complex setups, and use AI without needing deep technical knowledge.

HeatWave also makes it easy to work with different types of data. New features include multi-language support, automatic updates for real-time data, and JavaScript capabilities for flexible data handling. This allows developers to build AI apps that can understand documents in many languages, keep data up-to-date, and handle multiple requests at once, speeding up their applications.

HeatWave Lakehouse and AutoML add more benefits. HeatWave Lakehouse helps AWS users quickly query structured and unstructured data from Amazon S3, while AutoML lets them build and train machine learning models directly in HeatWave at no extra cost. These features make HeatWave a strong choice for businesses looking to use AI without the usual hassle.
