Docusign debuts AI Contract Agents in Singapore, promising faster deals, better compliance, and smarter cross-border agreement management.
At Momentum 25 Singapore, Docusign unveiled AI-powered tools built on its Iris engine, designed to modernize agreement management across Asia-Pacific. These include AI Contract Agents, launching in Singapore in 2026, that automate tasks like vendor risk analysis. As well as clause verification, and compliance checks in minutes. The goal is to cut manual effort, speed up deal cycles, and strengthen trust in cross-border transactions.
Iris uses advanced multi-lingual AI to support diverse regional needs, handling contract drafting, review, and management with precision. Businesses can create agreements, identify risks, and align language with company policy directly in Microsoft Word. By integrating with tools like Navigator, Iris also makes key contract details searchable and surfaces obligations before they become issues—reducing delays and compliance risks.
The platform’s new features extend to Agreement Desk, a hub for submitting and tracking contracts in real time, and Workspaces, a secure environment for multi-step agreements such as home purchases or account openings. These capabilities aim to eliminate scattered communications, improve customer experience, and accelerate supplier onboarding. Early adopters have reported 29% fewer deal delays in sales and 21% time savings in procurement workflows.
Docusign cites research showing Asia-Pacific businesses lose about US$600 billion annually to inefficient agreement processes. With many markets lagging in AI-driven contract creation, the company sees a significant opportunity for growth. “Intelligent agreement management is becoming a strategic lever for efficiency, compliance, and revenue,” said Kartik Krishnamurthy, VP for Asia. By embedding GenAI into every stage of the lifecycle, Docusign aims to set a new benchmark for speed, transparency, and accuracy in the region’s contract management.
