Ericsson introduces ANA, a GenAI assistant simplifying enterprise 5G network management, offering faster deployments and troubleshooting.
Ericsson has unveiled its GenAI-based NetCloud Assistant (ANA) to enhance the management of enterprise 5G networks. The NetCloud Assistant (ANA) leverages large language models hosted securely within Ericsson’s environment to protect user and data privacy. Embedded in the NetCloud management solution, ANA serves approximately 37,000 enterprises managing 2.9 million devices. Unlike traditional chatbots, ANA can generate new text and graphical content, providing personalized insights by correlating data from technical documents and the customer’s unique network environment.
Key features include knowledge summarization, configuration guidance, and enhanced troubleshooting. ANA reduces deployment time with step-by-step instructions for WAN edge device setup and automates diagnostics for faster issue resolution. By turning hours of work into seconds, it significantly boosts efficiency for IT teams managing 5G networks. Future capabilities will include policy recommendations for SD-WAN optimization and custom graph generation for detailed network analysis.
ANA complements Ericsson’s NetCloud AIOps dashboard, which the intelligent fault management detects and address network anomalies like latency and jitter. Together, these tools empower IT teams to proactively manage performance, enhance network reliability, and ensure seamless user experiences.
Ericsson’s investment in advanced AI technology allows even streamlined IT teams to efficiently manage 5G networks, improving reliability, security, and user experience. ANA and the NetCloud AIOps dashboard demonstrate how AI enhances network management, simplifying administration, and enhancing digital experiences. By integrating advanced GenAI, Ericsson positions its NetCloud as a leader in simplifying 5G network operations for enterprises.
