Meridian AI turns client interviews into organized, actionable insights, enhancing efficiency for law firm BD teams.
Meridian AI, developed by Meridian West and Rubiklab, uses the Claude foundational model to convert client-listening interviews into highly organized, searchable text. This innovation saves time for law firm Business Development (BD) teams and provides actionable intelligence.
Traditionally, BD teams conduct numerous interviews to understand market needs and client perceptions. These interviews, once laboriously written up and analyzed, can now be swiftly processed by Meridian AI. The GenAI system categorizes text into key subjects and offers natural language Q&A capabilities for deeper insights.
Ben Kent, Founder and Director of Meridian West, explained that Meridian AI summarizes individual interviews and provides comprehensive summaries of all interviews in a project. This reduces human bias and ensures accurate citations. The system can also integrate public documents, offering a complete view of client demands.
Meridian AI benefits extend beyond BD teams, applicable to legal work like analyzing depositions and court transcripts. It has already proven valuable to firms like Mills & Reeve and Deloitte, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual workload. Kent emphasized that while Meridian AI doesn’t replace human judgment, it serves as an excellent assistant for initial drafts, allowing BD teams to focus on strategic areas.
