Temenos launches a GenAI Copilot assistant to help banks design and deploy products faster with real-time insights and guided automation.

Temenos has introduced the Product Manager Copilot, a GenAI tool designed to streamline how banks create and refine financial products. Built into Temenos’ core banking system and integrated with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, the Copilot offers a conversational interface that simplifies complex tasks like product design, testing, and optimization. It enables product managers to access deep system capabilities without technical knowledge.

The GenAI assistant helps banks surface insights from core data, documentation, and compliance rules. Users can ask natural-language questions and receive immediate, actionable responses—without writing SQL or navigating dense dashboards. This drastically cuts the time needed to analyze data and make product decisions. Teams can also launch and test offerings faster, helping traditional banks compete with agile fintech rivals.

The Copilot integrates directly with tools like Microsoft Teams, enabling staff across departments—product, IT, and service—to interact with the banking platform without switching apps. It supports both built-in agents and third-party AI models, adapting to each bank’s ecosystem. This flexibility makes it easy to connect GenAI to proprietary data sources while maintaining enterprise-grade security through Azure.

Already in use by banks like Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, the tool reflects Temenos’ broader shift toward AI-first banking infrastructure. As 75% of banks explore GenAI and 36% begin implementation, Temenos positions its Copilot as a key enabler of faster innovation, greater efficiency, and smarter customer engagement—all powered by GenAI.
