Zoomcar integrates Google Cloud’s Gemini GenAI to speed host onboarding, cut cancellations, and strengthen fraud prevention.

Zoomcar has partnered with Google Cloud to embed GenAI and machine learning into its peer-to-peer car-sharing platform. Enhancing host onboarding, pricing, trust, and fraud prevention. Using Vertex AI and Gemini models, Zoomcar has rolled out AI agents that streamline workflows, deliver personalized insights, and enhance marketplace integrity.

One major advance is Host Assist, an LLM-powered onboarding tool built on a RAG framework using Gemini Flash 2.0. It offers 24/7, policy-aware guidance to new hosts, answering queries instantly without requiring live team interaction. This has cut average onboarding times by 30%, helping hosts list cars faster and boosting platform supply.

Beyond onboarding, Zoomcar is building the Host Intelligence Engine, which analyzes host behavior and compares it to top performers. The system delivers tailored recommendations, starting with AI-powered Pricing Insights, enabling hosts to set competitive rates and maximize revenue. These insights are data-driven, aiming to improve host lifetime value and profitability.

Zoomcar is also applying Gemini models to reduce host-driven cancellations by reviewing host–guest chat and call data to determine responsibility in disputes. This enables targeted feedback to hosts, improving reliability and guest satisfaction. On the trust front, a real-time AI fraud detection engine, integrated with the Customer Data Platform, screens encrypted identity data, KYC documents, and selfies to flag risks proactively. This enhances accuracy in fraud detection, safeguarding both guests and hosts. Together, these GenAI-driven systems position Zoomcar to deliver faster, more efficient, and more trustworthy experiences in the car-sharing marketplace.
