Wiliot combines ambient IoT and GenAI with the launch of WiliBot, a chatbot that enables natural language communication with products in supply chains.
Wiliot has introduced WiliBot, a GenAI chatbot designed to facilitate conversations with ambient IoT-connected products within supply chains. Through WiliBot, companies can inquire about various aspects of their products, such as shelf life, transportation history, safety, and carbon footprint. The chatbot leverages Wiliot’s Ambient Data Platform, which uses IoT Pixels to gather data like location, temperature, and humidity, sending it to the cloud for analysis.
WiliBot integrates GenAI with ambient IoT data to provide actionable insights and alerts for supply chain management. For example, it can detect when products like produce or pharmaceuticals are stored at unsafe temperatures, allowing businesses to take corrective actions. This innovative approach marks Wiliot’s entry into the GenAI space, enhancing their existing AI and machine learning capabilities to deliver deeper insights into supply chain operations.
Currently, WiliBot is being piloted with select enterprise customers, with a broader release planned for late 2024 and 2025. Future expansions aim to bring this technology directly to consumers, enabling them to interact with products to understand their carbon footprint, material composition, and ethical sourcing practices.
